Judge Paul M. Fullerton is pleased to announce that he will be a candidate for a Full Circuit Court Judge position for DuPage County in the March 2016 Republican primary. Judge Fullerton served as a DuPage County Circuit Court Associate Judge from October 2007 through the end of 2014. On January 1, 2015, due to the vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge Rodney Equi, the Illinois Supreme Court unanimously appointed Judge Fullerton to the Full Circuit position. He will serve the remaining two years of that Full Circuit appointment.

Over the past seven and one-half years, Judge Fullerton served in the Criminal Misdemeanor Division, the Law Division, and the Chancery Division. He presently resides in the Chancery Division, presiding over all probate, guardianship, adoption, mental health, tax objection and tax deed matters that are filed in DuPage County. Prior to his appointment to the bench in 2007, Judge Fullerton was in private practice for 17 years, the last six of which he was a partner in the Wheaton law firm Clingen Callow & McLean, LLC. Judge Fullerton is a long-standing member of the DuPage County Bar Association.

“Judge Fullerton’s knowledge of the law is outstanding. His integrity is beyond reproach,” said James F. McCluskey, a past president of the DuPage County Bar Association and founder and partner of Momkus McCluskey, LLC. Judge Fullerton has resided in Wheaton for more than 25 years. He and his wife, Carrie, reside in Wheaton with their four children.
